6-8 pound smoked bone-in ham
20 whole cloves
2 cups apple juice
2 cups pineapple juice
1 cup brown sugar
½ cup Molasses (mild or regular)
½ cup honey
2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
1 tablespoon ground nutmeg
1 teaspoon ground ginger
Zest of one orange and then slice
Press whole cloves evenly into ham. Place ham into the slow cooker.
In bowl, mix juices, sugar, syrup, honey, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and orange zest until well blended, pour over ham. You may need to add more juice (equal parts). You want most of the ham covered.
Add the orange slices. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
You can thicken some of the liquid to use as a sauce. Mix 2 tablespoons corn starch with ¼ cup cold water. Add corn starch mixture to 2 cups of liquid, heat in a small pan until thickened.
